Art

Connor loves to make art.  Lots of it.  So when his school started an art class, I knew I'd have to use some of my kid-project-processing skills.  Basically, that just means taking pictures of everything, then getting rid of most of the originals.  Connor was super excited to display the contents of his kindergarten portfolios - one is from Fall Trimester, the other Winter Trimester (they did a music class in the spring.)

While my mom was here, she was kind enough to do Elise's hair whenever asked.  Elise thought it was deserving of a photo.  I have to mention that I can't believe I didn't get a picture of my mom in our pool.  It must be years since she's been near a swimming pool, but she astounded us by doing perfect olympic-style dives and cannonballs off our diving board.  I guess I forgot she minored in P.E.

I have no French-braiding skills, so Elise has to beg extended family.

The rest of these pictures are just us hanging out at home.  Elise and Evan went through a phase of obsession with our double-tricycle.  Evan can't pedal yet, so he thought this was a total thrill ride.  Oh, and the last two are what happens when a baby finds a dried-up disk of watercolor paint. Mmmm, blue.

Evan's making his ah-bah-bah Indian noise.

I took too long to find the camera - it was worse than this when I found him.

Those art pictures are fantastic. Holy cow, I'm impressed with all the work that went into that! Evan is hilarious. Your kids are just so darn cute. The paint - - classic. I would love to see some pics of your mom doing those flips. It sounds very impressive.

I very much love the mask he made.

I can't believe you didn't photograph your mom. I'm super bummed. But she probably hid the camera before going out anyway. I definitely like Connor's mask better than the one in Kyle's profile picture. Do you have horrible pangs of guilt every time a painting lands in the garbage? I know I will.
