Daddy-Daughter and Family Photo Shoot

During the past two summers, our ward has scrapped Daddy-Daughter Campout in favor of a pool party.  Elise was ecstatic when somebody else at church threw one together anyway!  They went to the Santa Monica mountains one Friday in November, watched The Princess Bride out under the stars, and hiked to a cave the next morning.

The day after Daddy-Daughter, we got together with our friends (and their expensive camera,) and took family pictures for each other.  It works out great, because there are lots of people to help get the kids smiling.  Everybody has fun playing, too.  First, we'll see the playing, because it's cute:
